L'homme du pont

Posted by Zach (Le Mans, France) on 25 September 2008 in People & Portrait.

I'm still getting used to my new camera, but this is a recent one taken at a private château during the French patrimony weekend. The château was in the Loire valley, recently redone almost completely by some Parisians who've owned it only 7 years.

Anyway, this photo to me seems quite contradictory. There are a lot of lines, and they all go in perpendicular directions which can be distracting. It was a candid shot as the guy just walked over to the bridge as I was standing there listening to the owner give a bit of history. I liked his outfit so I took this shot. It came out rather well I think.

What do you think?
