St Andrews' Cathedral was founded in 1158 and destroyed by the middle of the 1500s. Today all that's left are its ruins, and they tell us how massive the cathedral was: 100 meters in length. For comparison, Notre Dame cathedral in Paris is 128 meters long. Now this cathedral is a cemetery.
